From Vault to Vitality

Introduction

When Fit.nu took over the premises of a former bank building, their ambition was clear: this would not just be another gym—it would be a space centered on community and team spirit.

Together, we turned a rigid, institutional environment into a vibrant training hub full of warmth, energy, and flexibility.

Vision & Needs

Fit.nu wanted to build a studio unlike any competitor. The focus was on group training, connection, and an environment where everyone feels at home—not just another row of machines in a cold room. To achieve this, there needed to be space for both strength training and yoga, as well as a lounge area where members could relax and socialize after their workout.

Moreover, each area had to be flexible enough to host workouts, events, and workshops. This called for a holistic approach—where floor plans, materials, and furnishings all worked in harmony.

“We wanted to create something that felt more like a studio and community—not a typical fitness center.”

Edgy, Energetic Design

We started from scratch: demolition, new layouts, and a complete reimagining of the space.

The design was built around keywords like flow, pulse, and presence. Color choices, materials, and lighting were carefully selected to create an energizing yet welcoming atmosphere—one that accommodates both movement and rest. The use of suede and burnt iron gives the space a raw edge while maintaining warmth.

Total transformation

The former bank was stripped back to its core—and rebuilt with new purposes in mind. We handled the entire remodeling process, from custom furniture production to full installation. Special attention was paid to soundproofing, ventilation, and acoustics, ensuring an optimal training experience from day one.

A Place You Want to Return To

Today, Fit.nu stands as a modern training studio where members come not only to work out but to be part of something bigger.

A place where the design amplifies the energy, and the space invites movement, motivation, and community.
